Medieval Style Goblet Set

These goblets are made with polymer clay sculpted onto hand painted glass.
A patina is added to give them the look of metal.

They are black and gold with silver highlights.
Each goblet has eight white crystals and four large oval amber crystals.

Dragonfly Vase

This vase is hand painted with three transparent washes.
I have sculpted the leaves onto the vase using a mixture of blues, purples and gold clays.
A patina has been added to give the appearance of metal; the clay is then sealed making it
completely waterproof.
Around the neck, the leaves are embellished with multicoloured crystals.
There are five dragonflies with luminescent wings fluttering around the center.
It is 7 inches tall and 14 inches around the center

Medieval Goblet Set

I have been asked many times if I ever make sets of my goblets. Most people who know my work know that I believe everyone should have their own person goblet. I have decided to combine both ideas and make a set of the same design but different at the same time. This way you can still have your own distinct goblet and also have a unique goblet for a friends to share your "spirits" with .

"Her Elfishness" is sculpted on a dried seedpod. I used a blend of clays and highlighted her with thin layers of acrylic washes. She is adorned with lace and magic gems.
Generally she is a very peaceful, kind queen; but do not irritate her as she can be a bit vindictive.

"Lyndeman Gaylord" is sculpted onto a seedpod. I have highlighted his face with different colour washes. His eyes are hematite and he is very proud of his crystal jewels of white and topaz and also the pearls in his regal fur hat.

Depending on the season, the moon, and the way the shadows fall.

You might happen upon "Xylia" whose name means

'of the wooded land'.

Her wild mossy hair cleverly adorned with oak leaves and twigs camouflage her into the forest surroundings.

She is 13 inches high and 14 inches across.

This is "SeaWeed" and she is probably the happiest

seaweed you'll ever set eyes on.

She was just rolling around being cradled by the waves

"Sea Dichotomy"

This is a new addition to my "nasty or nice" series that I didn't know I was creating. It just started happening on it's own.
Dichotomy is a sea creature who has wonderfully nasty, snaggy, catchy claws and yet he is wearing a colourful jester hat.
What does it mean? I don't know he just turned out that way. Judging by the expression on his face he doesn't know what it means either. He is 5 inches tall and 6 inches across. $150

"The Kind Soul" is a very gentle jesteresque character. He is very quiet to almost the point of being a mime. He creates beautiful magic for as you can see, he has just pulled a sparkling rainbow crystal from his sleeve!
He is one of a kind sculpture and was created with a combination of polymer clay and seashells.

"Keeper of Secrets and Things"

Keeper of Secrets is just that. He is very wise and is known to be trusted with the many mysterious secrets of the forest realm. The "and Things" is that he will watch over personal belongings while you are away on your adventures into the unknown.He is sculpted with a mixture of clays into a conch shell and has many things to mind....... potion bottles, nuts, pods, crystals, a magic mushroom, a talisman and he is looking after someone's pet dove among many other treasures.
He measures 9 inches to the top of his roots and 12 inches to the top of his branches. $295

These goblets have been hand painted. I then sculpted a mixture of clays onto the glass giving them medieval flare. Each goblet has been embellished with eight round white crystals. The balloon goblet on the right has four oval cabochons.

A matte finish has been applied to the clay which seals it and makes them water resistant.

Care instructions come with each one. Both goblets are 9 inches tall.

sculpted onto the glasses to give them a whimsical design.
The glass at the top is kind of a Tim Burton meets Dr. Seuss glass, filled with fun colours and shapes.

"Medieval Lantern"

This lantern is 71/2 inches high and 31/2 inches across.

The oak leaves and vines have been sculpted in clay which has then been embellished to have the look of metal. Marbled glass cabochons are embedded in the center of the oak leaves.

Six dragonflies with luminescent wings and are fluttering about on a papier mache background.
The inside of the lantern is glass so it may be used with tea candles, floating candles

or used as a vase.

A large duck egg for her body and a hen egg for her head.

Nana Murex Shelligan

The very gentle Nana Murex was created from a large, highly textured Murex shell and a mixture of coloured clays. Her smiling face is framed with ruffles and her eyes sparkle with
a warmth that makes you feel as if you have known her forever. She is 5"high by 6"wide.

Bathing Beauty

"Bathing Beauty" is sitting comfortably in a welk shell with a tibia shell wrapped proudly around her head. I created her using a mixture of coloured clays and embellished her with "faux" and clay pearls much to her shigrin as she would rather the real thing!
She comes with a metal stand that has a cracked glass dish filled with sand to display her. From the tip of her tibia to the base of the stand she is 12".

Sea Schnook

I sculpted Sea Schnook using many interesting sea "things" to create the effect I wanted.
She has a large and small crown murex shells for her body and head. I used coral, abalone, mini snails along with a sea fan, moss and of course clay to bring out her character.

Sea Schnook comes with a metal stand that has a cracked glass dish holding sand and pebbles to display her. She is 11" from the top of her shell to the base of the stand.

is all it takes to keep these little creatures happy.

Goblin Goblets

Deep in the Glens of Burnie live many interesting creatures and beasties.
Among them are the Moon Goblins!

Just after dusk ‘til long before dawn, the Moon Goblins emerge from their lairs among the bulrushes, humming and chanting their secret rituals. An enchanted expression falls upon their faces as they sip potions from ancient goblets and chalices, that I am sure their ancestors had stolen from kings and queens of long ago.
No one knows exactly what they celebrate. Nor, has anyone ever overheard what they chant. You see, our ears are not as delicately tuned as theirs, and perhaps it’s just as well.
After each gathering the goblets and chalices are left behind, hidden among the rushes, beside rocks and under branches. If your timing is right and you are lucky enough to find one, I have only a single suggestion. Beware! Sip only the occasional potion from its rim, for it has touched goblin lips!
Most prefer to use their goblet or chalice as a luminaire, using a tea candle or floating candle inside, while others protect their treasure, displaying it as a rare and unique art piece.
Above all protect it from goblin eyes!
The Moon Goblins will now be attracted to your lair and will try to steal back what is theirs. ©

Ziggy is overjoyed with her new stripped socks! Almost anything she has ever owned has had spots or dots of some kind all over it.
Stripes are in - and Ziggy loves stripes so much so that she knitted a pair of socks for herself with blue. purple and black , her favourite colours!
She is sculpted out of clay and has multiple coloured washes. Ziggy measures 8" long from ear tip to toe tip.

Deep in the mysterious sea is the Sea Mystere. This is a new discovery so there is not much info on it.
We do know that he is made up of two mottled whelk shells, a claw, lots of moss and very small snails.
The adult measures 5" high.

Janice Shelligan

Janice was created using a mixture of clay and murex shell. She is embellished with moss mini snail shells, coral and her eyes are hematite.

She proudly holds a staff that has mother of pearl and quartz embedded in the top.

Snicker Snacks or Snacker Snicks; it really doesn’t matter how you say it. These nasty Shrooms are from the blackest bogs along Willows Bend.
Not all things in the phantasy world are good-natured, and I will tell you without a word of a lie, no "toad" has ever survived trying to make a "stool" out of these guys! He is 31/2" high.

Dragon Tibias

These new characters are called
"Dragon Tibias".
I have sculpted them individually out of a mixture of coloured clays, then I embellish them with semi-precious stones, crystals, or beads. Their eyes are made of hematite.
I have formed them around a "tibia shell" and they have a hemp string so they can hang on a tree, wreath or a cabinet handle. There are many differant places they could make themselves at home!
